- Chemcel Federal Credit Union offers both Roth and Traditional IRAs. Information on distribution and contributions can be obtained at all CFCU branch offices.

- CFCU offers IRA Share (savings) Accounts as well as IRA Share Certificates to its membership.

- IRAs are special savings plans set up by Congress to help people save for major life goals - mainly retirement, but also first home purchases and college education.

- All IRAs offer tax-deferred earnings, but the rules governing the taxation of the funds when they are withdrawn differ by IRA type.
