Chemcel Federal Credit Union has been serving the families of Celanese employees since 1951. As time went by, we began to offer our services to contractors working at the Celanese sites and their families. Now, Chemcel FCU is able to serve residents living, working, worshiping and/or attending school in Kleberg and Nueces Counties, as well. Over the years we have seen remarkable changes, improvements, and growth for the credit union in the way it provides financial assistance to its members. Although it began humbly, the credit union is now a strong, full service financial institution.

Chemcel FCU offers a full range of financial services to its members; including loans, savings, investments, checking accounts, cash teller, ATM, MasterCard and VISA, Debit Cards, Internet services, Bill Pay and convenient office locations in Bay City, Bishop, Corpus Christi, Pasadena (Clearlake), Kingsville, and Dallas. At the credit union, we live the credit union philosophy of 'People Helping People'. We provide quality financial services, individual attention and competitive rates and terms. Employees of Mundy Contract Maintenance, who regularly work at the Bishop plant, the Clearlake plant, or the Bay City plant
